Bob Oates Plumbing, Sewer, and Rooter is happy to help young kids stay active in the Seattle area. We are proud sponsors of Ballard Little League, Magnolia Girls Softball, Magnolia Soccer Little League, Queen Anne Little League Tball & Rookie Baseball. Here’s a little background on each league.
Ballard Little League, Seattle Washington
Ballard Little League Baseball and Softball is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization which exists “to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways the interest of those who participate in Little League.” We want to encourage the children of Ballard to join and enjoy baseball and softball in their own community.
Magnolia Little League, Seattle Washington
Magnolia Little League offers T-Ball, Girls Softball and Baseball programs to the youth of Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood.
Established in 1954 and a member of Washington District 8, Magnolia Little League fields approximately 500 players on 45 teams. Their T-Ball program is Co-Ed for players aged 5-6 years old. Instructional baseball and girls softball are available for players 6-9 years old. Players aged 9 years and older are eligible to be selected to play competitive interleague baseball and girls softball. Players with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, can enroll in the Challenger Division to enjoy the game of baseball.
Magnolia soccer club is a recreational youth league, volunteer-operated, serving players in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle.
They’re a member of the Seattle Youth Soccer Association and conform with the schedules and regulations of this organization. Each year more and more kids from Magnolia are playing soccer for MSC. Youth are starting to play soccer at younger ages and are staying with the Club into their teen years. As a result, the skill level of our teams continues to increase, even at very early ages. This early skills development is greatly benefiting those players who aspire to play on competitive teams in middle and high school.
Queen Anne Little League Tball & Rookie Baseball
Providing springtime and summer softball and baseball fun to the families of Queen Anne Hill.
TBall is for boys and girls in kindergarten and last year of Pre-K (Ages 4-6) who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. Players bat off a batting T. Each team bats their entire roster each inning. Rookie baseball players in first grade continue to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding while being introduced to the rules of the game.
No matter what sport these kids choose to play they are having a blast and learning new skills, & because of this Bob Oates enjoys giving back to the community year after year.
