Bob Oates Plumbing, Sewer & Rooter knows the importance of keeping a healthy and well-performing Sewer system in your squire park home or office. Without proper working conditions within pipes, industries, or residences can become difficult to reside within. Repairing these problems can also cost time and money.
Before trenchless technology became available for public use, traditional methods involved digging up lawns or flooring. This enabled service technicians to get to the pipes that needed to be repaired or replaced. The process caused a lot of disturbances to the home or workplace and ultimately took much more time. The added cost of restoring the disturbed flooring or lawns doubled costs as well. Due to having to manually dig, what can take a few hours with trenchless technology took days or even weeks.
Luckily, our team of highly trained technicians have trenchless knowledge and can bypass traditional methods completely. First, our team will inspect the problem piping with specially designed cameras. By performing an inspection, the length and diameter of pipes can be accurately measured in case they need to be replaced with a new liner. This also allows for pinpoint accuracy on what the problem is in pipes and systems, and where the problem is.
Once the problem has been diagnosed within the sewer line, our team can then determine the best course of action. If your pipes are corroded but still have sound structural integrity, then CIPP (cure in place piping) would be administered. This process places a specially measured and cut epoxy liner into the preexisting pipe. With help from machinery and technicians on-site, the epoxy liner is guided into the pipe and then expanded with hot air to perfectly match the pre-existing pipe. It is then left to cure, or harden, which results in a perfectly functional pipe inside of the original.
If the structural integrity is not sound enough to constitute CIPP, then pipe bursting methods need to be planned. A pipe burster is placed within the damaged or cracked pipe. As it is dragged from one end to the other, it cracks open the pre-existing pipe and allows the room needed to place a new liner in. This liner is pulled in with machinery handled by technicians. It, like CIPP, is a liner that is carefully cut to exact dimensions of the old pipe to ensure a precision fit. This liner then is allowed time to cure to harden into a perfectly working pipe.
