The Perfect No-Dig Answer
Bob Oates Sewer and Rooter offers a range of plumbing services using cutting-edge trenchless technology. Only a small hole is required to reach and service your pipe, regardless of whether it’s in your backyard, underneath the foundation of your home, or even beneath the parking lot of your business! Both routine maintenance and major repairs are able to be completed with trenchless technology. In contrast, a traditional repair requires digging a long trench to reach whole sections of pipe, leading to a lot of additional complications.
This means a significant reduction in the time your job is completed, the amount of mess and clean-up, and hassle dealt with by your family or business’ customers. If in need of a serious repair, recall that your water will be off while it is being fixed. With traditional repair methods that take much longer, you may be forced to shut down your business temporarily, or relocate your family from your home to a hotel.
Keep reading below to find out more about some of our most effective services:
Hydro jetting: A process used to not only remove stubborn clogs, but also strip away built-up kitchen grease and other debris. A highly pressurized jet of hot water is forced into the pipe, and effectively cleans the pipe. Hydro jetting is also used before a sewer pipe lining installation, to ensure that the liner adheres cleanly to the pipe.
Trenchless sewer pipe lining: This service is utilized with pipes that are cracked, heavily rusted, have leaky fittings, or are otherwise degraded. A deflated “balloon” coated in a durable epoxy resin is inserted into your pipe until reaching the affected area. Once inflated, the resin coats the inside of the pipe, forming a liner, and is cured in place. The balloon is then removed. The remaining liner has a lifespan of up to fifty years, and (particularly great for Seattle homeowners with a lot of trees on their property) its seamless construction is excellent at repelling tree roots which can grow into pipes!
