EXCELLENT Based on 725 reviews Posted on jayeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sergio was dispatched right away for a drainage problem in a downstairs bathroom causing water to backup in a tub. It was discovered that root intrusion was in the main line. Fortunately, the cable was able to break up most of the roots. Future preventative measures were discussed that would result in more costly repairs. However, there was no pressure and they offered to contact me at no additional cost in six months to determine if the roots had returned. They were very professional and pleasant. Sergio even kindly offered to caulk the base of the upstairs toilet. The need for a plumber comes with homeownership. Although unexpected, I felt the cost was reasonable. It is a relief when a company charges what needs to be done and doesn’t add unnecessary costs.Posted on David TeelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our sewer repaired and lined by Bob Oats and are very pleased with their work. Dewayne McDermott led the job. He was was punctual, very good at communicating with us, and a pleasure to work with.Posted on Michaelene De La SernaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Prescott opened the drain that was clogged and prevented us from using our washing machine for two weeks. Prescott is professional, kind, friendly and a great communicator. He made me feel like a valued customer and explained everything to me very clearly. He was on time and very prompt with the repairs. I was so impressed with his work that I wanted to tip him, but he didn't want to accept tips. THANK YOU, Prescott! You're the best! I will be referring Bob Oates Sewer Rooter, LLC and Prescott to my friends.Posted on Christian de RobillardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They do the job and do it right. The technician shows up on time and communicates if he is running late. No complaints at all.Posted on Amy RadfordTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Prescott was efficient, friendly, proactive, polite, funny, and responsive! I highly recommend him!Posted on chris zimmermanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had gotten a quote from another company and wanted a second opinion. TJ can out and was very honest about what they could do and what we needed to do. Got someone to fix the clog within an hour and gave us a better estimate of a long term repair that went from an emergency to something we can plan for.Posted on bonsairoboTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Prescott was professional and efficient. Fingers crossed my problem is solved for a while.Posted on Harvey WrightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sergio was incredible. Having a backed up sewer is incredibly stressful and anxiety inducing. Not being able to use your plumbing will have you wrenching your gut as you look for a easy, reliable and reasonably priced solution. Sergio was the consummate professional, totally respectful, great listener, positive and charming, and great at explaining details and responding to questions. I would have never imagined having a clogged sewer could be anything but dreadful, but Sergio actually had me smiling and laughing because his commitment to the solution was infectiously optimistic. I couldn’t be happier. Bob Oates and Sergio were today’s reminder that not all heroes wear capes.Posted on Krijn de JongeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hasd a leaky toilet drain with water seeping into the kitchen ceiling. Oliver came out, found the problem and quickly scheduled to come back for the repair. Great job.Posted on paul armitsteadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Repeat customer… Timely response on short notice. This was a minor repair took that longer than expected, but kept me at the minimum service charge.
How Do I Know If I Need a Sewer Line Repair?
Sewer line problems rarely appear all at once. In many homes, the first warning signs are small — a slow drain, a patch of soggy lawn, or a faint sewer odor that comes and goes. But these early symptoms often point to a larger issue developing underground. Knowing how to recognize the signs of sewer…
High-Pressure Water Jetting Services
Clogged drain and sewer lines are often caused by buildup that accumulates slowly over time. Grease, sludge, sand, food waste, and mineral deposits can coat the inside of pipes, eventually restricting the flow of wastewater. When traditional drain cleaning tools aren’t enough, high-pressure water jetting — commonly known as hydro jetting — offers one of…
Why Maintaining Your Downspout Lines Matters
If you live within the Greater Seattle area, you know rain isn’t seasonal — it’s a way of life. While most homeowners remember to clean their roof gutters and downspouts, many forget about what happens after the water leaves the roof. That’s where downspout lines come in — especially after a Seattle winter. At Bob…

Toilet Tips: When to Put Down The Plunger and Call a Professional Plumber
A clogged or malfunctioning toilet is one of the most frustrating plumbing problems homeowners face.
